Our first candidate Mawande, also known as Superman, has been part of the Clear Design family for a number of years, working in the assembly team. Last year, he built his first podium on his own and now he has built too many podiums to count! It has become basic muscle memory to him. He is our dedicated catalogue builder (with over 250 different products) and we are proud to say he is now training a new member in our team on the skills and techniques it takes to build catalogue products. His most notable skill is his gluing. He has earned a reputation for seamlessly joining acrylic pieces together with no visible bubbles/imperfections.
Advocate, also known as Avo, is part of our cutting team and has immensely grown his skills and abilities. He started off with basics such as polishing. He then desired to operate the the CNC router and he was trained and operated the machine under supervision. Now, he is able to set-up his on cut files on the computer system as well as operate the CNC router by himself. He is also able to operate the laser, buffing machine and diamond polisher! With his growth and willingness to learn, we are positive about the future of our cutting team.
Last but not least, Craig. Craig joined our team and worked in almost every department imaginable. He even assisted in deliveries when we were short-staffed. Craig is a go-getter and an important leader in our business. He uplifts, motivates, teaches and guides our assembly team (the heart of the business). He has stepped up and managed the production team well and we are grateful for all his contributions.
