The early bird does indeed catch the worm. Our team started the day at 05:45am, in a determined spirit to embark on a massive spring clean of the factory. The objective was to reduce the amount of clutter, dust and wasted materials; making the environment a cleaner, spacious, and safer place to work in. A neat and organised work environment keeps staff safe, healthy, and productive.
When transforming our materials into impactful products, there are pieces of material (offcuts) that get left behind. We are very conscious of reducing our footprint and operating in an eco-friendly manner. We optimize left over/waste materials as far as possible, and if we cannot find a rejuvenated use for it, we recycle. Recycling saves production and energy costs, and preserves the earth’s natural resources by decreasing the demand for new materials.
